Tutorial Interface Jaf By Gsm Sufi
Flashing tutorial jaf and explain the parts of the JAF Software

1. Main menu of JAF Software

If you have seen the message above (number four) and the button on the top right has the "Ready" then the JAF Software is ready for use.

As a first step in a process Flashing look at the area circled and numbered 1.

1. Flash Setting
This section as shown is the Flash Settings tab that serves to make the adjustment to the Flashing process that we will do. For more details consider the following two pictures.

Figure 2. Flash Settings tab on the Menu Software JAF

In the picture above, we can divide into sections more specific as shown by Figure 3 below.

Figure 3. Work area on the division of the Flash Settings Tab

1.1. Flash Files
In this area, we can see some buttons that used to appear on the Menu DCT4. Here's a brief description of those buttons.

MCU (Micro Control Unit)
MCU is the main part of the firmware Mobile, could be analogous to the Operating System like on the computer.

PPM (Post Programming Memory)
PPM is a pair of File MCU which has several important functions, one of which contains the language.

CNT (Content Pack)
CNTs used in DCT4, includes tones, games, etc., different areas of flash with the language.

ADSP (Advanced Digital Signal Prossesor)
ADSP is the Flash Files for DSP chips, used in Ngage Phone. To Memflash this section must use the Pop-port or commonly called a mini USB Cables

Variant APE (Application Processor Engine)
This section is used only when memflash Mobile APE, such as 7710,9500,9300 and others ...

APE User Disk
This section is also used only in the APE Phones, like 7710, 9500, 9300 and so forth ....

Change Product Code
Every mobile phone Nokia has a seven-digit number written on the sticker on the back of Mobile (the Battery). Product code differs depending on the country where the Mobile was sold and operators who have ties of cooperation with the nokia. (Branded or unbranded version)
This section is used to change the product code according to what we want.

Product Profiles
This option is not shown in the picture, but will be active if we press the INF, certainly with Mobile that are connected. This section will show "This files" (*. it) from the mobile phone, which we connect.
This file contains code customization for some products, such as GPRS, WAP Bookmarks, etc. ... even for the Mobile Communicator, also includes the layout of the keyboard.
"This Files" is a notepad file with extension *. This

Factory Set
If this section we check the configuration settings of Mobile will return the default after flash process done. This option may be equated with "Full Factory Default" on UFS

Warranty
If we press * # warranty # or * # 92702689 #, usually Handphoneakan indicate some hidden information from the Mobile is, for example the IMEI number, year of manufacture, including the "life timer" and others. If you check this option then the "Life Timer" will re-zero after the Flash.
This option also allows us to correct any errors in "product warranty"

Manual Flash
This option allows us to make the process of selecting a flash file manually sebelumkita do Flashing. If we do check on this option also means that we disable the software to detect the type JAF / Mobile models automatically.

Unlock
This option is for mengunlock Mobile Flashing automatically after the process.

1.2. Skip Option

There are four options that we can skip the Flash process by utilizing the existing options in this section.

AFP (After Flash Processing)
After the flash process is complete, usually JAF software will try to put Mobile on the Local Mode to perform some processes such as reading the information on Firmware on Mobile and others. This option is usually useful if the Mobile experiencing connection problems, because most mobile phone, which in Flash is often getting into trouble in the process of the AFP.
Use this option if you really understand why this process should be in the Skip.
For example, we usually perform Full Erase to Erase Files causing Mobile Dead total ('re not there anymore firmware in Flash IC) technology, the AFP is not needed anymore, so we can skip.

MCU ID
MCU ID is the identity of the UPP (Universal Phone Processor), inside the Flash file, there are badges for UPP Supported by the Flash Files.
This option allows us to Skip the reading process when the process ID MCU Flash underway, this option is very dangerous if we do not know what we do.
Use this option if you truly believe in what you do, you're absolutely sure that your flash file which has been supported with select UPP HP will be in Flash. JAF software will usually give a warning message if the ID does not match MCU Flash file which you selected.
Note: Generally, warning that the MCU ID is not supported with a Flash file that has been selected, caused by bad cable connection. Try to restart mereconnect Software and F-Bus cable and then repeat the process Flashing.
At HP's total death, most likely caused by hardware problems. If you've had time to finish Flashing MCU, try to perform PPM Flashing at the course, usually quite successfully.

BT
Bluetooth has its own firmware, which is usually contained in the File MCU.
You can download Skip this process if the Flash file that the select have the same version of the Flash file contained in the Mobile, This can save you time.
But you have to skip bluetooth BT if the IC has been damaged. This IC may have been damaged if at the Flashing process, this error message appears "Error Loading additional loader ..."
